Ep 75 Sugar and Spies

General Summary

Tethel took to tackling his given task of working the Proudfoot’s into the Mar. He gathered enough rumors to find a few opportunities to try and ingratiate themselves with the leaders of the market. He recruited the other talent in the syndicate Silk. The two of them chose to run a job stealing sugar from a warehouse out of town where someone has been hoarding it for months. They scouted the area and bumped into another outfit after the same mark. Tethel managed to break in by hiring a ride onto a smuggler making a delivery to the warehouse. Silk used fire to foul the other outfits attempt using their distraction to make a getaway when their new friend and his cart of re stolen sugar were stopped on their way out. They made a clean if slightly bloody getaway they spent the night waiting for Alochrin to open for trade in the morning. Despite losing a bag to petty thieves they managed to smuggle the rest of the sugar into the city over the next few days despite Delarney and his thugs searching for them. Irgdan their new friend in the Mar sent some new recruits over to the Proudfoots. Tethel found himself ambushed by Delarney who offered a business deal to be conveyed to Drae. Tethel ensured that Lorelei would meet with him first in case Drae would accept impulsively what looked to him like a bad deal. His worries proved needless as Drae immediately through out the deal, not wanting to work with the one who hampered their bakery’s access to sugar.
