Ep 72 Ella's Oneshot

General Summary

We switched view to Berrian’s tower while the party is away. We got into the day to day of two apprentices Ansem and Ella who found their morning routine interrupted by Ganelthion failing to make his rounds to get everyone to work. Breaking into his room after borrowing some picks they managed to find his journal. Breaking the Cipher allowed them to read his last message detailing that his father had tracked him down and he hoped to one day return for his book. They sent their familiars into the home of the night shift guard who had seen him leave, learning that he had apparently went to meet an associate in the Mar. At the Mar they instead found elves with Ganelthion’s Portrait searching the area who eventually led them to the city gates. When they saw Ganelthion about to be taken away Ella’s quick thinking managed to get his father Amocar to follow to Berrian’s tower where Berrian was waiting. He failed to convince him to let Ganelthion stay, with Amocar insisting he come home for at least a while and to face punishment for running away. The students managed to get off without punishment for acting on their own, even receiving praise along with warning from their teacher.
