Ep 70 Road Trip

General Summary

We began with Drae returning to his brothers tower ready to figure out whatever came up last he spoke with Wednesday. She was firm that it was just a misunderstanding and did her best to allay his fears that he would miss out on this part of his life with her given his lifespan. The party started gearing up for a trip to meet family, starting with a month spent on a swanky sky ship out past the seven isles to a volcanic island where Big Red promised Yaikzal and his son could meet his parents. After much coaxing he brought them out from their volcanic home. Yaikzal got to introduce herself to his disapproving father and enigmatic mother who immediately took a liking to her new grandson. Lorelei for her part managed to win the ire of Mor Big Read’s mother after charming her during their conversation. For their part Gail and Sammy got their first vacation after Berrian accidentally invited them and Lazuli, who was immediately disinvited by her own daughter. Next we followed them to the home town of Berrian and Drae, Merriam adopted he party without a second thought inviting them out for a picnic to get to know them. Her house guest Uthgar came out with snacks floating before him shortly after. He proved near identical to the elf who protected Alochrin during Arbitrary’s game of cities but with white hair and pale skin. He introduced himself as their brother fated to die while they would live, and seemed keen to switch that fate as the trays he carries have begun to spin and shoot towards the brothers, him asking if they think “He will come to save them”.
