Ep 6 Crack of Thunder

General Summary

The party were led the across border through a secret tunnel belonging to the golden fan. They were invited to meet with 62’s leader who would want to thank them for their help. Their last night out in the wilderness was a tense evening as a grey slaad hovered around their camp throughout the night, stalking off as the sun came up. Cyrus went to visit Aidelia his sick wife who was frightened and bedridden among the nuns he left her with babbling about someone coming for her. The party went to see 62 and discovered as Cylph’e had feared the leader of the golden fans is Ceretus Blackfeather. He proved friendly and offered to protect them from bounty hunters, even the one offering the bounty. The girls agreed to spend a few days a week there so he knows they are safe before Cyrus took them to a private room to reveal that Aidelia is his sister who was taken as a wife by Blackfeather who tortured her. He was incredulous as the party seemed to emphasize with him but were entirely unconcerned that Blackfeather had committed these crimes. Cyrus managed to get them a job from the Trill that would pay handsomely to take a second attempt at the Quarry. In order to get an estimation of their abilities against the Slaad they challenged Yorik the Red managing to bloody him before he pummelled them into the ground giving them a passing grade to fight even groups of Slaad, warning them against fighting too many at once. We ended with them exhausted resting among the bandits.
