Ep 54 Battle Royal

General Summary

We began with the party making their way back to the Arena the following day and paying the steep entry fee to gain the right to challenge the grandmaster. They found themselves facing the announcer who declared the battle would be a free for all. As it started unmatched competitive spirit emerged within them that pushed them to ignore their usual comradery as they began throwing themselves at each other and the seemingly frail grandmaster. After Yaikzal dropped him, he rose again in his true blue phoenix form. Setting many of them alight while being harried by Yaikzal in her sphere of darkness. Berrian was knocked twice from the sky falling like a missile upon Lorelei below as she duelled Drae while Yaikzal watched. Blasting him with her psychic sunfire before turning to fight the watching dragonborn. Both faced off hanging on the edge of consciousness, with Yaikzal closing the distance to take victory. Darkness dropping to show her half dragon form with Big Red cheering from the stands. We ended with them in Alochrin’s Coliseum returned along with its captured crowds and their spoils left waiting for them.
