Ep 53 Dragon and Dagger

General Summary

The party dove into the arena after learning that the prince had become active there slaying many of the foes they would have had to face. They found themselves facing off against the dragon he had failed against, and eventually being blamed for even the deaths they did not cause as the dragon drank the essence of one of its cyclops servants to continue fighting them. Yaikzal armed with the dragon slaying longsword proved a dangerous opponent for the beast squaring off with it more than once. After their victory they made their way to their rest during which Big Red learned about Braxton’s relation to the prince, refusing to believe this and insisting that Drae was trying to defame Braxton after his death. Yaikzal did her best to comfort him. In the meantime, Berrian managed a meeting with the prince trading his favor for the Good Weather gang being told to leave the Red Scar Bar alone in the future. Drae did some disciplining of Tethel, who also brought him a particular bard who had done some work for Berrian in spreading a song to the city. Turning the bard to his side in assisting bring in the faceless wizard that has been paying him. We ended with the party in the Bed and Boar that evening stabbing each other and having agreed to continue taking on the Arena and then turn to deal with the talking rats in the student market.
