Ep 43 Counterspell

We began with the party discussing with the Enlightened Monk coming to an agreement for the terms of their battle. The monk for her part was a capable mage who could steal their magics with a glance holy or arcane. With Berrian unconscious Yaikzal managed to land a final arrow on her, and they found the Kings Retreat returned. Yaikzal swam there to be greeted by her adoptive Mistress Sarah. After being treated to a nights’ rest the party went with Sarah to report to the king, who promptly rewarded them for taking one of his troubles off his shoulders. Deciding to take a day to themselves Yaikzal went out with Big Red, Drae took Wednesday out to the Hammer and Grog, Lorelei and Ari went out for wine in the inner run, and Berrian discovered that Pearvus was serious the last time he banned him from the bar. Yaikzal ended up cuddling with a somewhat reluctant lava ogre, and Drae found himself invited back to Wednesday’s room for the first time.
