Ep 42 Monks

General Summary

We began with the party’s trial by the Ascendant Monk. They were commanded simply to make amends to the families who lost members in Alochrin due to their actions. They were then taught how to connect their actions and share the strange moves provided by the rules of this area. They proceeded to do battle with the chain master taking a bruising in the process. Upon resting after the battle, they discovered that the creatures here would do the same. Too weary for another drawn out battle Yaikzal was challenged to single combat by the much-recovered chain master. She managed a narrow victory and the party advanced to claim their reward. Soon after most of them found themselves trapped separate from Ari and Kea'Na who quickly dispatched their challengers. After falling through illusions into the traps below they eventually found themselves traversing the master's sanctum. We ended with Drae picking through a complicated lock with difficulty, and the doors forcing themselves open to reveal the massive hollow chamber within, the master turning towards them.
