Ep 41 Vacation

General Summary

We ended with the old, ascended monk saying let the trial begin. We returned to the end of Berrian’s Bladerite Moonblade in hand. After commissioning an altar to the Mother the party found themselves with a few days of vacation in the capital of the elven forest continent. Some spa visits where had, shopping was done, and eventually the party returned to Alochrin. Drae being followed in secret by Berrian met with Big Red, learning he would be leaving their criminal syndicate along with many of its members. They soon discovered that their old foe Hagren was hiding near their meeting. He confronted them accusing them of having struck a deal with the outsider Thessa Kar to keep him and his people from returning home. Threats were exchanged and he vowed to determine whether they were truly working with him. Runa and big red have decided to start a bar together once he feels safe again, and Lorelei and Ari have begun making strides in reconnecting. Deciding to challenge the monks once again on the floating Isle whose defeat seems important to Yaikzal. we ended with the party learning that those who fall from the isles are not meant to die, and the party agreeing to face trial before an ascended monk for their transgressions. Them on the ground before them we begin with the ascended monk saying, “let the trial begin”.
