Ep 40 Swords and Towers

General Summary

We began with the party gaining entrance to the Arcanum campus to search for Berrian’s Girlfriend Sasha. Within its doors they met powerful resistance from fish like creatures in the midst of a ritual. Their leader was turned to a slug, returning as Berrian fell to turn the tide of the battle. A hard fight led to the parties victory, before one of the controlled students under the command of the octopus like creature on its skull awoke from its feigned sleep. Lorelei was knocked to the ground before Berrian slew the creature and the party rescued her. They went on to find Sasha and Claire controlled, and swiftly whisked away by something from the blood ritual they had interrupted. The party with an air of defeat retreated to the tower, deciding on a break to Ethlandir. After saying their goodbyes and having a private conversation between Redscar the party journeyed to the elven isles. They managed to avoid an encounter with a treefeller and Berrian found himself waiting outside the house of the mother having given his dancing sword to ask an audience. Some of the party enjoyed some fine elven accommodations while Berrian, Drae, and Kea’Na met with the high priest. Berrian went through the bladerite being accepted by each of the blades former masters and the blade itself. We begin with him standing there before them leaving the world of the bladerite from within his mind, the moonblade leaping to his hand.
