Ep 23 Highs and Lows

General Summary

The party took a break for an evening with Berrian taking Sasha for a flying date with some wine and conversation at the end. The rest of the party tried their hand at live ship combat with Yaikzal proving her aim with a cannon. The next day they began their treck into the mountains coming across an elven figure that warned them to find a different path. As they complied they discovered a different elven figure was following them. They ambushed him and interogated him managing to learn that they belonged to the Auriel family one of the five ruling families of Ethlandir. They took his magic dagger and cloak and continued on their journey. Eventually they arrived at a small tribe in the mountains and met the blue dragon born Tridu left to watch the caves there with the tribe. After some owl shenanigans that saw Rosco turned to mist Yaikzal noticed a cloud borne fortress drifting above them. Berrian went to investigate and exchanged words and then blows with a giant man who confronted him from one of the turrets. Berrian fell and died upon the cloud and we ended with the party flying towards the fortress on the back and in the claws on a giant eagle. They see from the air a giant woman with hair like blue fire standing over an area of the courtyard.
