Taskmasters House
Approaching the dwarven workshop, you hear the rhythmic ticking and clanking of gears, and the occasional hum of low-level magic. The entrance is marked by a large wooden door, intricately carved with images of gears and runes. Upon entering, one would see a sprawling workshop, filled with all manner of tools, machines, and materials. The walls are lined with shelves, displaying gears, cogs, springs, and other mechanical components of various sizes and shapes. There are also jars of powders, crystals, and other arcane ingredients, along with books and scrolls containing magical formulas and diagrams.
In the center of the workshop is a large workbench, surrounded by a collection of smaller benches and stools. At the main bench stands a burly dwarf named Kolgod Taskerhill, the owner of the workshop. He is a master of gears and machinery, and his creations are known throughout the land for their precision and reliability. Kolgod is currently working on a large contraption, a clockwork automaton with glowing blue eyes and a series of gears and pulleys controlling its movements. He is muttering incantations under his breath as he carefully assembles the pieces, occasionally pausing to adjust a gear or add a bit of magic.
In the workshop, every dwarf is working very busy with some kind of mechanical or magical project. Some are working on small devices, like clockwork toys or musical instruments, while others are working on larger creations, such as mechanical mounts or even steam-powered vehicles. Despite the hustle and bustle, there is a sense of order and efficiency in the workshop. The dwarves move with purpose and precision, carefully measuring and testing their creations to ensure that they are functioning properly.
