If the character is in a rush, they can make a proficiency check to spot important information quickly before moving on.

However a rather unique perk of this proficiency is the ability to attempt making a forged document of some sort. The more professional the document, the more difficult the check obviously. They can also attempt a proficiency check to write something down when they're in a hurry.
