Architect
Architect is the profession and knowledge of one or more types of architecture, and the various kinds of structure, statistics, themes, culture and the like came along with said architecture. In general this proficiency allows for the general knowledge of whichever architecture they select, however a successful roll can provide additional knowledge and even an added skill or two.
As mentioned above this proficiency unlocks the general knowledge of a specific field of architecture selected by the player. They will always know the general theme of the architecture, important symbolism and representations, the various types of buildings and structures that are often found in it, what it says about it's creator's culture, what was famous or infamous about it, and so forth. When a player has points in the proficiency, they also possess the less common, or more secret knowledge. For example, one would recognize that a certain type of building would have secret escape routes, and know the general area those secret paths would be found. They'll also recognize anything that is out of place.
So long as they have points in the proficiency, when the character encounters more subtle examples of the architecture, something out of place amongst the structures/themes, or a part of the architecture that clearly belongs but is very clearly new to them, they can make a roll to see if they can uncover it's hidden meaning, purpose, and attempt to decipher it.
Furthermore, they will have a higher chance of spotting any secret doors and/or portals, with a passive chance of 1 in 6 for doors, 2 in 6 for portals, and with an active chance of 2 in 6 for doors, 3 in 6 for portals when it's part of the architecture they're familiar with. They also gain an additional 10% chance to detect traps that are built into the architecture as well, and can make this roll passively as well as actively.
The list of architecture types is as follows: (wip)
