These citizens are often paid to either tend to animals and crops, or play a part in the manufacturing of Calydonian leather. Due to the importance of agriculture in Calydon, Demeter is commonly worshipped by the people of the city.   Many Calydonians find work in the silk industry, as Calydonian dusk moths are the largest species of moth in Eregost, and they leave their silk cocoons all over the caves near Calydon after they finish their metamorphosis. These cocoons are collected and processed into sheets of silk, which are then used to create fine robes, bedcovers and dresses.

On top of the bronze plates of their armour is a thin layer of copper which has purposefully been left to turn green. They wield steel spears and carry bows.
