The Hand of Tyr

The Hand of Tyr is the formal name of the usurper Emperor Ragnar's inner circle. Each of them is a very powerful adventurer in their own right, and together they constitute the greatest threat to Lumeris and the Oroboritic faith aside from Sanguine.
Wulfgar IV:
Little needs to be written of Wulfgar IV, for his name has long been legend. Known truly as Noro the Younger, he is the son of Saint Noro, and the High Priest of Tyr. A charismatic and zealous priest, it was Wulfgar who orchestrated the coup against Emperor Karl Graelingard and turned the Empire on a genocidal warpath. It was Wulfgar, acting through his wife Judith, who elevated Ragnar (his best friend and mother in law) from mere man to Tyr Incarnate. His daughter is Mathilde, the Empress of Holmgard.
Wulfgar is known for his command of shapeshifting and channeling Tyr's will. He is an extremely dangerous combatant, but more dangerous is his sway over the Holmgardian people via Ragnar.
Judith:
Judith is a powerful illusionist from the distant nation of Emrath. She is the wife and confidante of Wulfgar, and Ragnar's mother in law, through her daughter Mathilde.
Judith's origins remain obscure, even to our intelligence network. What is known is that she clearly bears the mark of a Great Geas, which can only be the work of Titania, queen of the Seelie Fey. As such, it is likely that she manipulates the entire Hand of Tyr, and thus the Holmgardian Empire, to do Titania's bidding.
Alaric:
The greatest skin wolf in recorded history, Alaric is an ascetic Tyrian zealot, completely single-minded and loyal to the House of Graelingard. A living legend, it is said that his wolf form is so powerful that he only unleashes it when the odds are dramatically against him, for in no other situation would the wanton destruction be worthwhile. Alaric's official title is the Imperial Chamberlain. In truth, he is the unofficial ruler of the Western Empire, who have come to worship the Wolf Cult nearly as a new religion.
Alaric's weakness is his honour; he never flees from a fight when offered, and he is completely single-minded and self-sacrificing.
Mathilde:
The Empress Mathilde is the daughter of Wulfgar and Judith, and husband of Ragnar. Little is known of her, but she reportedly lives a cloistered existence. She is renowned as a prophet and oneiromancer, bearing the ability to see the future, and is said to have a sickly constitution.
It is said that aside from her husband, she is quite close to the Pale Dreamer.
The Pale Dreamer (Garish von Marofin)
The newest member of the Hand of Tyr, Garish von Marofin is a legendary hero from the West who reportedly struck down Sanguine with his own hand (though Imperial propaganda states that he merely aided Ragnar in slaying Sanguine). It is said that Garish has peered into the very stars themselves and seen the future, and has thrown his lot behind Ragnar to avert whatever awaits the world.
Note: Garish has been seen visiting the Empress in private. Could this be a weakness?
