Boggart
"Suddenly, something like a bulbous, rotten plum fell from the tree, suddenly sprouting stubby arms and legs. Wobbling slightly, it shouted in a coarse voice. "OY. YOU! I'SE GOT A MESSAGE FOR YOUSE.", phlegm flying from its mouth, its wide, yellowed eyes darting about."
- A Tale of Two Realms
Boggarts are hideous but good natured creatures inhabiting Unseelie parts of the Feywild. Similar in appearance to a bulbous, rotten plum with a scrunched up face, arms, and legs, and with a grouchy personality, boggarts are repulsive to most, but have found a treasured place in the Feywild. This is due to their eidetic memory, single-mindedness, loyalty, and general harmlessness. Once given a message, a boggart will never forget it, and given a task, a boggart will literally follow it to the letter, stopping at nothing to accomplish it. Boggarts accomplish all of this with an unending stream of complaints and grumbling, but following orders is their purpose in life, and they are essentially unable to deviate from them. Though not particularly intelligent or creative, there is no better scribe or messenger than a boggart.
