Wild Magic

An unpredictable and mostly uncontrollable form of magic. Scholars of magic cannot agree on the cause or the source of wild magic. One theory is that it is a natural essence of the universe. Another is that it is the result of ancient curses on specific locations, objects or individuals (and their descendants). A third theory blames wild magic on the activities of certain of the Old Gods, mostly Pale Night or Ney.
