The Chartered Guilds

A number of professional and trade organisations operating either throughout The Empire or in particular regions, kingdoms, duchies etc. The Chartered Guilds differ from the Free Guilds in that they are recognised by the local duke, king or even the Emperor / Empress and offered a certain amount of protection.
