Salis
Archduke of Synoppeia at the time of The War of the Elves and the Giants . Salis was the younger brother of the Emperor Nathah.
Salis led the southern Imperial forces against the southern Giants . When humans arrived in Ettrea from the west, he was suspicious and spoke out against his brother's recruitment of them. Salis was convinced that men were creations of the Devils and were inherently evil. That belief ("Salianism") still persists among some elves to this day, but is considered heretical by the The Church of the Holy Celestial Pantheon .
Salis survived the War of the Elves and the Giants and retained his position as Archduke of Synoppeia. He was in Tanurel at the time of The Ruination and perished there along with most of the other nobility of the Empire.
