Ettrea's greatest swordsmith. An elderly high elf from Synoppeia. Even swords forged by Calvisse's students are highly sought after; genuine Calvisses made by the master himself are priceless.
Calvisse popularised the rapier, although he didn't actually invent it. It is fair to say that he perfected the form.
