Knights of the Black River

Military order sworn to protect the Black River frontier of the Empire. Their headquarters is in the Citadel at Brandbrug. The Knights also maintain a string of forts on the west bank of the river and even some forward posts in Viltland. As recently as three centuries ago, the Knights held a large castle several hundred miles east of the river, Castle Sanskill.
