Gregorslad

Patriarch of the Church of the Holy Celestial Pantheon in the eighth century of the New Empire .
Gregorslad was from Bavarin and had previously been the most senior Archbishop in that kingdom.
Gregorslad came to the patriarchy with a reputation for ultra-orthodoxy. Very quickly he moved to remove all but the most orthodox of clerics from senior positions in the Church hierarchy. Then he condemned Triarchism as a heresy. This denunciation put in motion the sequence of events which would culminate in the Triarchist Crusade two centuries later.
