Former County of Caltmar

Former county in northern Sigsland.

For centuries, the county was ruled by the den Ayduin family - an old high elven family (with a fair bit of human blood). They were prominent triarchists. When the Triarchist Crusade started and Church forces moved into Sigsland, a large army attacked the county. Caltmar's militia was routed and almost all settlements of any size were destroyed. The den Ayduin dynasty ended and their ancestral seat was ruined.
