Edict of Akkon
A patriarchal edict issued by Patriarch Akkon in the fifth century of the New Empire.
This edict confirmed that the boundaries of the Kingdoms of The Empire were permanent. That is, Kingdoms could no longer expand by annexing other territories, and could not lose land to other states. The early part of the fifth century featured several wars and border conflicts between various states of the Empire. Patriarch Akkon came to power determined to stop these conflicts and to reassert the authority of the Church.
