Boras

Count of Enlingen.
Boras was secretly a Triarchist. During the Triarchist Crusade he raised an army from his county ostensibly to fight for the Church against the triarchists. However, like their lord, most of the soldiers were also secret triarchists. This army arrived at Krunebrug to assist the Church forces besieging the city. When Wuldemin's Wood Elves unexpectedly attacked the Church army, the Enlingen army changed sides and attacked the Church forces too. The Church forces were defeated and their commander, Harald, Duke of Ottarstein was killed.   It was Boras who negotiated with Patriarch Leod's representative for the end of the Crusade. He publically renounced his triarchism in 980 (and was rewarded with additional lands taken from executed triarchist nobles) but secured a measure of tolerance for triarchists in Enlingen and certain other parts of Sigsland from the Church. This marked the end of the Triarchist Crusade.   Boras is only a Count, but is still one of the most influential nobles in Sigsland.
