Azzak

Enormous desert in northern Arddol. Few travellers from Ettrea have ever crossed Azzak. Most of the desert is great sand dunes as far as the eye can see.
The Elves sometimes call Azzak the "Desert of Bones". A common saying among the Imperial settlers on the north coast of Arddol (who almost never venture south into the desert) is that "where there is no water, only the dead may live".
