Session 3: A Little Favor
General Summary
Our session started with Kiley entering into a dream where she was able to connect with Fistandia. Ivory and Oberon were dragged along for the fun. In this dream, they learned that Fistandia is being held captive and a lead cell against her will. Nothing much was known about their captor except that they have a purple robe and had purple, moist skin.
As the adventurers were eating breakfast at "The Touched," Shard informed them that "The Boss" wanted to meet them. Todd escorted the Marauders, to an underground portal that took them to a magical transportation device. This device took them north. When they excited, Todd took them to a tavern called the Gnaked Gnome. But instead of going in the Tavern, he took them above the tavern to the office of Bobbynocker Nackle.
After some conversation, Bobby struck up a deal with the Marauders. In exchange for information and help freeing Freyot from the library, the Marauders promised to deliver three packages for Bobby (if Todd could come along as well). One to the leader of the three factions of the Shaynue, the Unseen, and the Nine Eyes.
They headed out on their way, but Ivory requested to get a hot dog first as she was hungry. As they approached the hot dog cart, a rainbow appeared going into Central Park. After getting her hot dogs, Ivory chased after the Rainbow. When she got to the end of the rainbow that was in the middle of Central park, she saw a weird looking colorated world on the other side. Kiley caught up and was able to stop her from entering.
At that time they noticed that the park was empty of humans (due to the rain), but the were able to notice that the ground keepers were wood elfs. The approached one (name Foleen) and was able to convince him to that them to Leas the leader of the Shaynue. After heading past an abandoned castle, they entered the Ramble, and Foleen showed them the secret entrance to the Shaynue's Hidden Grove.
They met Leas Longleaf who looked an elderly hippy and smelled of some choice herbs. Leas was very accommodating and friendly to the group. He told them the story of how him and Maglo arrived to the island. He shared some candy with Ivory and also showed them what was in the box. A glass eye that showed into the hut of Zelphar. A gaurdian Druid of the Wood of Sharp Teeth in Faerun.
The adventurers ended their meeting on good terms and headed on their way to their next delivery.
