The creation of Draygon, the first Verryn Hybrid

A powerful mad wizard of chaos attacks the orphan town, destroying it completely. Daniel and Curtis are the only survivors. The young pair attack the wizard. The wizard casts a wild spell that fuses Daniel with a nearby dueling pair of Verryn, one silver and one black. The boy was forever transformed into the first, and one of only two human/verryn hybrids who would one day be known as Draygon. Bahamut, God-King of the Verryn, rescues the boys and adopts them as his own. He puts them into a magical sleep to give Daniel's body time to heal and adjust to his magical mutation. Though the sleep was meant to be only a few years, circumstances lead to it lasting over 1000 years.
