A world once ruled over by the fiendish, technologically advanced Kolonati lizard men. In ages long past, the free peoples of the world banded together to cast off their evil oppressors, banishing them from the world. Now the alliance of the council of magic and the Verryn elders maintain order. For over one-thousand years this peace has been maintained...   Now the Kolonati have returned, bringing with them their terrifying black machines. However a new race of beings, the avian Solonar, have also appeared to fight back against the lizard hordes. The clash of these forces set about a cataclysm that shook the very foundations of the world.   New races, new creatures, and new technology now pervade the world, as a group of heroes rise to the challenge to stop the evil empire. These heroes of the light struggle desperately against the new Kolonati Emperor Serahken, the Lord of Darkness.
