The Argent Eye

The Argent Eye is the secretive arm of the church and very few know of its existence. Their primary duty is to insert themselves within structures of power and work their way on the inside to find evidence of and expose evil. Whether it be a rising cult among the nobility or a burgonign cabal of necromancers within an arcane institute, once proof is obtained information is then given to the crusaders so they can then execute the churches will. The Argent Eye does not operate with a typical rank structure. Throughout the continent and even abroad it operates in small groups of individuals, called Sells no larger than 20-30 members. Each Sell is led by a confessor and no one is exactly sure how many cells are out there save for the inquisitor.
Grand Inquisitor- spy master and leader of the Illuminated Eye. never known by name except by the Dawn Herald. Castigator- Castigators report directly to the grand inquisitor and hold no position of authority over any other members of the inquisition. The operate explicitly as an elite strike force when an inquisitor need to eliminate a target Confessor- Experts in interrogation, ultimate seekers of truth.
