Imara the Fate Weaver
Imara holds dominion over winter and the knowledge of all who have passed through her halls. Imara sits in judgment of the dead and measures the soul against their actions in life. Those who lead pleasant and fruitful lives join the gods in the eternal paradise of Caelium; those who live corruptly must seek absolution or sail down the river Styx to Abaddon. Given her realm of influence, many think Imara is cruel. She cares for society's oppressed and discarded, especially the souls in her care. All are equal in Imara's eyes, whether mighty or meek, and all come to her embrace eventually. She promotes compassion and comfort to those who are in their last days and loathes anyone who seeks to subvert their fate, especially the undead. She is a lithe humanoid woman with ethereal skin showing hints of skeletal structure. She wears form-fitting silken gowns seemingly made of mist and an ivory mask made of bone and trimmed in brass, depicting a dispassionate female face. She is always in the company of unkindness ravens and carries a sickle in one hand. She is invoked for funerary rights, and her priest offers comfort to those in times of mourning. Undertakers revere her and necromamcers fear her.
