Kenku - PC

The Kenku are a mysterious people, mostly because they can only mimic sounds and words they've heard before. From what scholars have gathered about the raven-like creatures, long ago the Kenku dwelt on another Plane, possibly the Elemental Plane of Air. The Kenku served a master long since forgotten and use their intelligence and inventive nature to search for new treasures. Their master's quests gave many opportunities for golden glittery rewards over the centuries, but the Kenku were never satisfied, so they sought to steal their master's treasure. Upon hearing of their plans for betrayal, the Kenku's master cursed them. The curse stripped the Kenku of their creativity so they would not scheme against their former master. Their voices were also stolen to never divulge secrets again and their wings withered, binding them to the ground. Finally, the Kenku were expelled from their native plane and sent to the Material Plane of Eraterna.
