The Grunnien Yakfolk

Grunnien (Yakfolk): The wisdom provided to the Grunniens has kept them safe over the centuries, but outsiders have asked, "at what cost?" Wisdom told the Grunniens to distrust all those who would do harm to them. It led them to retreat more and more into the mountains and instilled fear in all others in the process. Because of this, technological advancements within their communities move very slowly. With no influence and very little communication from the outside world, their society can only move as fast as the ideas within their community. It's rare to find any Grunnien adventurers because of their reclusive distrust, though if a member does choose to leave, there's no telling how one would react to the wonder and advancement of the outside world.
