Halfling

Halflings: Halflings are a simply simple race. Largely removed from outside events, Halflings live in relative peace. Historians suggest that the Halflings owe their peace to the luck their god, Yonalla, provides. Along with seemingly unnatural luck, Halflings claim that Yondalla gives them protection and a typically optimistic outlook on life. While it's extremely hard to find a Halfling village when you're searching for one, those simply wandering might suddenly find themselves smack in the middle of their village town square.

• Surestep (Lightfoot): The Surestep Halflings are one of two subraces attributed to the Halflings. Those of the Surestep is are typically the Halflings that one would find on an adventure. They love exploring, hearing tales, and creating some of their own. Because of this wanderlust, Surestep Villages are found further away from the Halfing Capital. Adventurers more often than not still miss Surestep Villages due to their inhabitants' natural stealth and evasion.
• Hardholm (Stout): Hardholm Halflings are more hearty, more resilient, and more reclusive than their Surestep cousins. Some speculate that Hardholm Halflings have come from ancient Dwarven ancestors somewhere down the line between their attitudes and their more stout-like appearance. Hardholm Halflings are seldom found far from the Halfling Capital, preferring to settle and prosper close to home. That isn't to say that no Hardholm adventurers exist. The want for adventure can strike a Hardholm Halfling just as hard as their Surestep relatives.
