Queen Liara I

Queen Liara I was the first regent of Elustria and such commonly regarded as the first Queen of Evangil. Her regency was according to all surviving records a dramatic one, with many wars and assassination attempts coloring her story. She began her life as a direct descendent from Eliza the Wise and such in a prime position to take over the mantle of Alderman of the then town of Elizas Landing, there was little turmoil about her rise to power, but her reign would change the course history. In just a few years, she would come to unite the people of the town and surrounding villages like no one had in 300 years, she established the city-state of Elustria and began construction on the monumental city walls that can still be seen surrounding old town to this day.

To defend what was built, she formed the first professional army the continent had seen in human history and albeit small, it along with the many volunteers of the land, held of the many enemies of Queen Liara. Warlords, tribal chiefs and rival towns all came thundering down on the expanding citystate, either jealous, fearful or simply out of spite they tried to bring down Liaras walls. In the end, non of them succeeded and Elustria established itself as the supreme power in the region for many years ahead.
