Blackbeach

An old village, but recently booming, benefiting from the inventiveness of immigrant Gnomes from the Calico mountains this town has become a center of industry and creation. The mines to the east feed the towns forges while its people craft new and wondrous things.   Blackbeach has gone from a small fishing village, serving at most as a rest stop for ships heading east, to a rich industrial town in just little over a decade. The town quickly outgrew its simple wooden palisades, basic roads and most notably: its own government. Moving slow as any ruling body tends to do, the Lawkeeper of Blackbeach has struggled to keep up with an ever growing population, crime and simple governance until in 1788 the region gained official recognition as a township and a town council, lord-major and a proper city guard was established, ringing in the beginning of the end to the borderline lawlessness that had plagued the town.

Demographics

Blackbeach and the surrounding region is home to a majority human population, with a larger-then-average amount of Gnomes many of which are refugees fromĀ Kopparhome in the Calico Mountains.

Government

As of 1789 the Lord-Major of Blackbeach is George Isadon, the Ex-lawkeeper from the days before Blackbeachs township.
