The Taimana Tribe
The Taimana Tribe controls the southern Islands of the Faenir Archipelago. These Islands were mostly ignored by the Dragon Clans as they fought over the larger more northern Islands. This allowed for the Seojung empire to exert influence here earlier then outsiders had on any other of the islands. As the second age began the Seojung and Imperial forces clashed along the Islands as the fought proxy wars and sought for commercial dominance in the region. As the world grew more dangerous and competitive the Seojung empire withdrew many of its colonial ambitions instead leaving its shadow to continue to influence its interests. The Kangpae found great opportunity within Taimana and set about making it a den for criminal activity, cut throats, and pirates, assuming they can all behave while on the Islands.
When the Rebellion moved to cast out most outsider influence, the Taimana Tribe was already well established as overlords of their Islands, however the Kangpae advisors and contacts were never far away, hidden just out of view. The Taimana tribe enjoys the wealth that the Kangpae bring them to look the other way to their dealings, as well as the power it brings. The Taimana Tribe can call upon the Kangpae allies to deal with trouble makers, political rivals, and even business complications, not needing to dirty their own hands in the practice. The Kangpae grow wealthy as do the Taimana, creating a twisted shadow government and symbiotic relationship. Outside of the major cities, Taimana Tribe tends to quick to anger and often view themselves as the best warriors from the Islands.
