Clan Summit

Clan Summit occupies the peaks of the North Western corner of Ioban. Having suffered many casualties in the most recent dragon wars, the clans power has wained. This has allowed much of their territory to be taken by opportunistic White Dragons of Clan Frostblood. Summit finding their dragon lords put to slumber had to quickly recall forces from around the world and attempt to secure or move their dragon kin that were deployed across Eraneth fighting against the forces of Tarsus.

Structure

Clan Summit elects their Clan leader when a vacancy becomes available. This democratic streak extends into their vassalage as well. Prominent families vie for seats on their council thru good public works, personal accomplishment and prowess. While this republic resembles a true representative democracy, powerful families hold the majority of seats thru their own prestige or carefully crafted negotiations with other families.

Culture

Summit is an industrious and dutiful people. The Dragons of Summit have been quick to answer the calls to battle, and were frequently active across Eraneth trying to advance their clans desires and thwart that of rival Chromatic clans. Among their vassals expectations of excellence, good works and duty are paramount. All members of the clan serve in the armies for a time with the most skilled remaining to become the backbone of Summits forces.

Public Agenda

Since the quieting of the gods and the great slumber, Clan Summit has been in conflict with Clan Frostblood, attempting to reclaim its lost territories. The Clan has also been extreamly proactive in returning their dragon lords home that were abroad when the slumber took them. Summit has so far ignored the calls of the Council Ary, focused on their war with Frostblood.

Assets

Clan Summit has many rich mineral deposits in their mountain homes as well as strong naval presence with their coastal cities.

History

Traveling to the cold northern mountains as Ioban was settled, the Dragons took these jagged peaks as their home. Volcanic in the early ages, they cooled and have become a vast domain for the Silver Dragons. Quick to answer the calls of war Summit has been at the forefront of conflicts that have raged across Ioban and the world.

Demography and Population

Clan Summit has a diverse mix of vassals as the Silver Dragons outgoing nature drew them to many types of humanoids. Elves(20%), Dwarves(25%), Humans(20%), and Gnomes(15%) are all common place along with a strong population of Half Dragons(20%).

Agriculture & Industry

Summit relies on the bounty of the sea for much of their food production, but have several mountain valleys that produce staples and graze animals. In their mountains hot forges work the ore found within as well as several subteranean food sources.

Infrastructure

The Summits have many interconnecting tunnels and mountain roads that move about their territory leading down to their seaside fortresses.
