Genasi

The Genasi were a byproduct of The Hubric Wars. During the tumult of the war, the veil between the elemental planes and the Prime Material grew thin and would sometimes rip open. During those events, the power of those planes would interact with the races of the Prime Material Plane. The people that weren't killed in these catastrophes became the first genasi. Some people also got sucked into the elemental planes and became genasi in that process. Genasi aren't quite as mythical as Centaurs and Loxodon, but are not very common. All genasi have some magical ability relating to whatever elemental plane is in their ancestry.
