Deciding to plan their next steps more, the band decides to send a letter to the man who requested their aid informing him that they'll arrive in around a week.

When sending the letter, Reginald buys a pin and Dhusia attempts to use magic on the clerk, unsuccessfully. The whole band is then ejected from the premises.

The band decides to go shopping for some more supplies at both the market and at Fire's Anvil.

Orion pays an engineer to attempt to make a hook attachment for his prosthesis. He said it would take some days.

Greg, deciding to go find god, walks into the local church and speaks with a janitor and then later a monk. The monk reccomends he wait for god to present himself to him instead of simply picking one for the sake of having a religion. Greg is not amused.

Greg decides to meditate outside the church while the rest of the band goes to sleep back at the pre-rented rooms at the inn.

Finding Greg outside the church the next day, Dhusia and Reginald take him to the park and give him some food. While Dhusia attempts to comfort Greg and tell him that not all religious journeys start when one wants it to. Greg hears a faint voice in his head and imagines a symbol.

The band uses illusion magic to ask people about the symbol and are eventually directed towards the archive.

After looking through the archive and receiving minimal help from the clerk, they discover some relevant tomes vaugely describing the symbol Greg claims to have seen, including a ruin in the north-eastern section of the continent of Erelia.

The band makes a note to visit this ruin and discover it's hidden story at some point.
