Standing outside the cave, the party attempts to lay a plan on how to proceed while inside.
Carefully clearing the cave, they encounter a pack of wolves, followed by a two bears and then a group of spiders.
After contending with all the creatures in the cave system, they encounter a long corridor, outside of which they decide to lay a plan.
After a little bit of planning, they decide to take a little rest before continuing on.
Getting over-excited, the party rushes in without their rest.
When they enter the final room in the cave, they spot a slaad working on something, but before they can prepare a battleplan they are surprised by 2 dopplegangers.
After a while of holding on by a thread, they manage to defeat the 2 dopplegangers, but are unable to defeat the slaad.
After trying a few desperate and unsuccessful plans, Greg pulls out the scroll of teleport and begins to cast the incantation and with some divine luck, they are teleported away, with the focus object being Greg's clothes, which he assumes will take him home to Ikuin.
