Karkidonia
A large trade city at the tip of Ayaraera. It's also the capital of the nation of the same name.
Demographics
Being a trade hub, Karkidonia is host to all known races. However, the largest group is Humans followed by much smaller groups of Tortles, Tritons Kobolds, Orcs and Centaurs.
Government
Karkidonia is ruled by The Council which is lead by The Speaker. The Speaker is elected every 2 years.
Defences
Karkidonia has outgrown it's outer wall and has yet to build a new one, so not everyone is covered by the walls of the city. They also have a strong fortress in the city.
Industry & Trade
The main industry in Karkidonia is trade, being that it is in the desert without any nearby mountains, there is no other strong industry other than fishing and ship work.
Infrastructure
Karkidonia has many large shipyards and a district filled with blast furnaces and other metal related artisan work.
Assets
Karkidonia exports some luxury resources, among which are ivory, pearls, crabs, spices and the only known resource of purple dye in the known world.

History
Originally settled as a fishing village, Karkidonia has spread itself from the tip of Ayaraera all the way to the Alapachian mountains. Mostly fuled by trade they have created a way to find things to trade with others, set up a good logistical network and increase their wealth.
Architecture
Most of the city's buildings are constructed from either sandstone or is adobe housing.
Geography
Karkidonia has the Akin sea to the north and the Karkania desert flanks it in the other directions.
Natural Resources
Karkidonia's main resource is fish. Being a desert city, farmlands are difficult to come by, but there are some farms in the nearby area aswell.
