Personal history
Twilight Sparkle had a very hard time learning magic and was very weak despite having a thirst for magic and a heart that wanted to devote itself to the subject.
She studied and studied but when it came down to the magic entrance exam to celestias school she failed and couldnt produce a spell, it was only the shock of a sonic rainboom that unlocked a spell that was hidden inside her.
Becuase she only managed to pass becuase of an accidental spell and Celestia taking a liking to her she got a really awful case of imposter syndrome.
Becuase of these really sudden and quick accomplishments Twilights parents made her a trophy child lightheartedly so she always tried her best to prove that she did deserve being Celestias apprentice.
During her first years of Magic school twilight continued to struggle using her magic desprite the outburst during her entrance exam. Because of this a lot of students didnt like Twilight very much and would talk about her behind her back about how unfair it was that she got into the school due to her lake of strenght in magic. Some students even went as far as assuming she only made it into the school due to her brothers ties to the royal family due to his training in becoming a knight. Twilight overheard this and became really nervous and scared around other unicorns making it hard for her to make any strong friendships or find any point in having friends in general.
