Tenets of Faith

Pass Through the Cracks: Let your strike be guided, passing through the spaces between that it might defeat your foe with ease. Clean strikes cleave through hordes faster than rough ones; the faster you slay your foe, the faster you can move towards your goal unimpeded. The more powerful the foe, the larger its cracks and the deeper you can strike between those gaps. Give no quarter, exploit every weakness.   Be Unstoppable: You are the might of the wind and nothing can stop your charge. If something moves into your path, cut it down. If a wall is built before you, break it. Let only the end of your calling stop your infinite movement forward; even when your charge is complete, still you must go. There is always good to be done, and it is your duty to ensure that it is. Not even the endless abyss of the space between the stars can hold you back.   Lift Others' Wings: You are the air beneath the masses' wings. With your actions you should empower them to soar to greater heights and push forward their own charge. Where you go, leave behind naught but the ever-fleeting memory of your deeds that others may yet chase it and reach heights unknown. Even the stars themselves should be elated by your deeds, and it will be by your actions that they come to rise in the evening once more.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Imperos' many goals all inevitably total into the final defeat and destruction of the trapped archlich Modhaar. While the lich's body is sealed within the Elemental Plane of Air's Spheres of Containment, which house many other nefarious creatures from long before Epposia's creation, his mind is free to wander. For a psychic creature of Modhaar's sort and power this is but a trivial thing; many of Armun Kelisk's denizens have reported seeing apparitions of the lich haunting their dreams even to this day. It is yet to be confirmed if these are purely manifestations of their superstition regarding him or if the lich does in fact haunt them.    Imperos encourages its worshipers to track down and destroy the artifacts that make up the lich's 'holy trinity.' Three books bound in flesh remain on the Material Plane that supposedly contain not only the secrets to lichdom, but to the very ascension to godhood used by the lich itself. Despite its vendetta against the Secret-Keeper, Imperos does not hate undead. In fact, it believes in redemption even for these creatures. While the average zombie and skeleton are to be put to rest, a large number of Imperos' followers are made up of intelligent undead; from skeletal champions to creatures on the path to lichdom themselves, Imperos welcomes all to its belief in good and lifting others up. Those creatures on the path to lichdom actually follow a different path. Rather than looking to perform heinous acts that ruin their souls, they seek to perform an act of such a good and selfless nature that the Beast itself blesses them. These creatures still become undead, but instead use their eternal unlife to bring good to the world and fight the evils of the Secret-Keeper.   Beyond its goals relating to Modhaar, Imperos seeks to build planar bridges that would allow all creatures to freely walk between the Elemental Planes and the good-aligned Elysium and Heaven. It has entertained the thought of opening a bridge to Hell and the Abyss, but has deemed those creatures irredeemable to the point of condemnation.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

Imperos' motivations are as varied as they are complex. In the quest of redemption for most all creatures it has learned of many more mortal interests, everything from simple pleasures like delicacies of food and drink to the more intense and focused tasks in the arts of creation. Redemption, however, is and always will be the thing that drives it at the core.
