Calamis

One of the Six, Calamis is the embodiment of Darkness created by Camael. Its shadows peel up from the ground wherever it travels and it takes the shadows of the creatures in its wake with it, those shadows never to be seen again. Its very existence seems to eat away any light that is passes by and through - it leaves behind a calamity of darkness in its wake, seeming to sap away the life of creatures who pass through where it has walked. Its existence is simply that of a brutal creature: a Colossal viper whose very presence is toxic to the land that it so much as slithers through. Calamis is the god of the dark tapestries that govern the true paths of the world, as well as mere darkness itself. Calamis is the Emperyal Lord of the Negative Energy Plane, ruling over the Nothing and giving its usually-shapeless space the form of a desolate city - an antithesis to the city of Libertis, and is at war with a demigod nightwave known as Fecundis who rules over the Escarpment.

Calamis has its metaphorical hands in the pot of just about every creatures' dealings. Many of the villains that have plagued the world's surface have prayed and communed with it to discover the secrets of those who might stand in their way in order to crush them or otherwise move them from the path. Calamis exists in the Negative Energy Plane almost entirely, yet gets the whispers of secrets from the prime Material Plane to its ears at any given moment. Its life is constantly plagued by the sounds of these whispers and was even so plagued before it attained its divinity. It presents its intelligence in unbelievable ways, murmuring to creatures who could align with it before they even plan to. Or, even outside of that, it will give guidance before it is asked of itself.
