Shallow Woods
Geography
A sparse forest of dwarf trees, no higher than two metres. In daylight, it was a peaceful abode to small colourful birds and curious squirrels and shrews, but at night it held an eerie atmosphere, paired with the low-lying mist that seemed to drown the ground beneath it transformed the woods into a feared place. Many tales of vengeful ghouls and spirits prowling in the night were told in the neighbouring hamlets, with the storytellers uncertain if what they speak of is truly real or not.
