Gor'dok
"Hisses can be heard from deep in the mountains, wagons being pulled by things like men, but reptilian in nature. The humans of the mountains, all hermits and shepherds, fear the snake men of the mountain valleys, yet on the other side, the fear remains mutual."Living isolated in the mountain valley of the Ravencrag Mountains, the Gor'doks are descendants of the great Ancient Serpents, who inhabited the valley long ago. They’ve built themselves in isolation, learning to fear the unfamiliar, this has led to a tumultuous relationship with humanity, as well as many other creatures. One of their few friends are the Raven Giants of the mountains. Nimble and agile despite their size, Gor'doks often don't partake in combat, yet their physical prowess shouldn't be underestimated. Most are miners and builders, tolling away days on end so that they may finish their work and satisfy their pride. Such mindsets have left most quite muscular and long living, although the lifespan of Gor'doks is still far shorter than that of Humans.
