Gladic Mythology
History
The earliest records of this faith come to around 10000 Origin Age, as one of the oldest written scripts on the planet. It served as the main faith within the region of the Glades for centuries.
Disbandment
Other faiths combined with changing views and values eventually stamped out the religion mostly around 4000 Origin Age.
Mythology & Lore
At the beginning of everything, there was only empty space, and out of it came out Tereboros, the Cosmic Serpent. It soon created the world. However when it begun shaping the planet, it had trouble, so it created Alpus, the god of the Mountains, Lar and Dex, the gods of Rivers and Weal, the god of the forests to help create the world and shape it.
Once the world was made, lush with forests and hydrated with waters, kept safe by the mountains surrounding it, the gods went on to making life, Weal forged animals to inhabit his domains, while Alpus created birds to soar high into the sky, Lar and Dex had forged fish to fill the rivers they dug. As time passed, it was apparent that the life on the planet required light to guide them, to shine onto their world, and so Tereboros, high in the skies stepped up, and circled around the planet, its eyes becoming the Suns and Moon, as it turned through the stars. This caused a problem however, the light given off was too hot for the creatures, the heat was becoming unbearable even for the Gods. In response, Tereboros forged a new diety, Frer, the god of the Cold to help balance the heat Tereboros gave off.
The gods on the planet had soon gotten bored with their animals, they wished for new life, yet none of them knew what to make, and so Frer stepped up, crafting humans, and placing them onto the world, gifted with greater thought then any other creature, the gods accepted this, and so humans spread. Soon they begun to worship Frer due to him being their creator, yet this made Alpus angry, from his lofty point on top the mountains, Alpus struck Frer down into the bottom reaches of the world, turning them frozen in a white snow in the process.
