Followers of Ioburus
History
The Followers of Ioborus were first documented around the 6000's Origin Age. They are theorised to be much older however, likely adopting customs of the Oracles of Rebirth from travellers coming from the North.
Mythology & Lore
At the beginning of time, where there was nothing but a void, existed the serpent Ioborus, it lived out its life alone, flying in the empty void until it died. But upon its death, the serpents body flashed with a bright light, and so it was reborn, becoming the world on which everything stands upon.
Due to the serpents rebirth, the noble and holy who grew connected to Ioburus will receive another chance in life upon their death, being rebirthed by the serpent itself.
Divine Origins
It is believed that a large part of the beliefs came from the Oracles of Rebirth and their teachings
Cosmological Views
As is understood by followers of the faith, the planet is a small part of the serpent Ioborus, with the sun and moon being one of its eyes and the tail respectfully.
